Typically I think of off the shoulder tops as a bit more feminine and dressy, but I wanted to make it more casual so I paired this one with my favorite boyfriend shorts. However, every time I put these shorts on, I fear them falling apart on me because the holes keep getting larger and larger. LOL They have lasted for a few years and I have debated purchasing a backup pair because I love them so much, but decided to grab these which were not as distressed yet still had a boyfriend fit.
We are driving back today from our few days at the Quirk Hotel, and I will be sharing a post next week on our time there. It still feels a bit strange not to be at a traditional job during the week like I was at for the past 15 years, but the change in career has done wonders in helping me deal with my chronic pain. It’s not completely gone, but I have more good days than I do bad ones which is a huge success. Working on my blog full time has allowed me to work around the pain rather than through it which has been the biggest help. I am typically a type A, highly anxious person so trying to learn a new way of living is a continuous struggle but it’s necessary for my health. I know I don’t speak too much about personal issues on my blog, but after discussing my recent spine surgery and chronic pain issues many people have asked for an update on how things have been. I am hopeful that things will continue to improve and maybe someday I can be pain-free. Thanks again for all your support in reading my blog and watching my YouTube videos – it’s wonderful to do something that I love so much while also getting a great distraction away from my health issues.
