Cocokind ReviewsOne of my favorite aspects of doing content creation/blogging for a living is getting to try brands that may not have been on my radar if I wasn’t doing this job. And then getting to share my experience with other beauty lovers and introduce them to various brands is the best thing ever. I started this blog nearly 14 years ago because I LOVED yapping about beauty and fashion and just telling my friends was not enough. Ha! Hence, I started this blog and could talk all day and night about these fun things with people all over the world. It’s still the best part of this job!

Today’s post is going to be another introduction to a brand that has blown me away with their formulations. Plus the price points are incredibly affordable while still giving effective results. I began seeing Cocokind reviews on my social media about a year ago but wasn’t sure I was interested enough to try them for myself. Fast forward to today and I have personally purchased 5 of their skincare products already and loved every single one. I’m sure there are hits and misses in every brand, but so far all of the products I’ve tried from Cocokind have been immediate hits. I’m going to review each product I’ve tried, why I love it and who I think it would be best suited for.

Cocokind Reviews

Typically when I am trying a brand for the first time, I automatically go straight for the best sellers. And this is usually what I recommend to my readers as well. Obviously best sellers may not work for every single person, but they are usually best sellers for good reason. I picked up the most viral and popular products from Cocokind to review in today’s post but definitely plan on testing other Cocokind products in the future.

What Is Cocokind?

Cocokind was founded on the basis of making products that first and foremost support and strengthen the skin barrier. They focus on effective formulations at an affordable price point. The founder Priscilla Tsai is very front and center in the brand’s marketing and connection to the consumer – she is often in videos discussing the products and explaining the thought process behind their purpose. Since the brand is focused on skin barrier support, nearly every product is formulated for sensitive, reactive and often acne-prone skin.

As someone with dry, mature skin, I regularly look for brands that cater to this skin type because I know the formulas will be incredibly gentle, soothing and nourishing. I’ve loved every product I have tried from the brand and have a few other Cocokind products on my radar that I plan to try next. I initially tried all the top sellers and most popular products which I reviewed in this post. As I try more products, I will update this post with my reviews.

Cocokind Calming Magnesium Facial Mist

I use facial mists every single day in both my morning and evening skincare routine as well as throughout the day to keep my skin well hydrated. While so many mists help with hydration only, the Calming Magnesium Facial Mist helps to calm stressed skin. The formula was designed for those with sensitive, reactive and acne-prone skin to help support the skin barrier while also refreshing the skin. I don’t have sensitive skin but my skin does get drier than ever before and this mist is absolutely amazing!

I actually used it after getting my eyebrows threaded because the skin was raw and red afterwards. And I usually breakout around my brows if I don’t use products to soothe and calm my skin. I spray this on my brows for 4 days post threading and it works wonders! Immediately my skin feels less irritated and I didn’t have any breakouts. Though this was designed for sensitive skin types, I definitely feel that ALL skin types could benefit from this mist!

Cocokind Electrolyte Water Cream

Gel creams and water creams are not typically my favorite textures to use because they never feel hydrating or moisturizing enough for my dry skin. But the Electrolyte Water Cream is one of the few exceptions – it is like a drink of water for the skin! The formula feels lightweight and comfortable on the skin but the deep hydration it gives is next level. It contains an electrolyte blend that supports the skin barrier, helps balance hydration while also controlling shine. If you have oily or combination skin, this is perfect for both morning before your daily SPF or evening as your final step. However, it you have dry or mature skin and are hesitant to branch out from the rich creams, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by this water cream.

Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Nourishing Daily Serum

It doesn’t matter what skin type you have, protecting and supporting the skin barrier is must have for healthy, balanced skin. The Ceramide Barrier Nourishing Daily Serum is lightweight but super creamy and nourishing. It’s easy to add in to any skincare routine and works for all skin types. Formulated with a blend of five types of ceramides and lipids, this daily serum helps reduce irritation, hold onto moisture in the skin and soften the skin with the addition of lactic acid.

Cocokind Revitalizing Eye Cream

This is a very straightforward no muss, no fuss hydrating eye cream that works well at a great price point. The cooling metal applicator feels amazing on the skin and instantly helps to soothe and depuff. It’s suitable to use for day or night and works well under makeup. While it does state that it helps reduce dark circles, I find that very few eye creams do and it’s a hard thing to really tackle. For me, this eye cream really soothes and moisturizes my eye area while also helping to depuff and smooth any fine lines.

Cocokind Ceramide Lip Blur Balm Hydrating & Soothing Lip Treatment

How many lip balms is too many? Honestly, don’t answer that because I won’t like the response. LOL I have more lip balms than is probably necessary but I have to add another favorite to the lineup. This Ceramide Lip Blur Balm is 10/10. It’s nourishing, softening, thick without being too heavy and makes my lips look amazing. I’m not sure I will buy the tinted ones because I have so many tinted lip balms but I do plan to repurchase the untinted as soon as it runs out.

After trying all of these products and falling in love with them, I really want to try a cleanser next. The Oil to Milk Cleanser sounds like a formula I would love as well as the AHA Jelly Cleanser which is a gentle clarifying face wash. The Resurrection Polypetide Cream is another best seller that I’ve heard amazing things about so I plan to add that to my cart soon. For anyone looking to tackle dark spots, the Chlorophyll Discoloration serum has amazing reviews.

Is Cocokind Worth It?

Without a doubt, this brand is worth trying. The formulas are effective while the price points are affordable. That is not always a combination you can find in the beauty space, but Cocokind is a community first brand that focuses heavily on their consumers and their feedback.
