While I think it’s necessary to have a classic pair of black pumps in one’s wardrobe, I get distracted very easily by other shoe styles and sometimes put off purchasing the staples. But I received a few gift cards for Christmas and I told myself that I was going to use them to buy something practical rather than frivolous (like another nude lipstick, though I thought about it #beautyaddictproblems). I was browsing the Bergdorf Goodman site and came across this pair of Manolo Blahnik black suede pumps and immediately knew those were it! I purchased my first pair of Manolo pumps years ago in a classic nude shade and still wear them a ton. While many people live for Christian Louboutin heels, I find them to be a bit too uncomfortable when it comes to a classic pointy toe style. Manolo Blahnik is much more comfortable for my feet and I wanted a pair of pumps that I can actually wear all day. Though my only complaint about the shoes is that the suede shows dirt marks and dust much easier than a patent or standard leather finish. But I didn’t want a shine on my pumps and thought it looked better for a more casual outfit – hence I went with the suede.
