I’ve been a fan of wide-leg pants especially wide leg jeans for more than a decade. I’ve experimented with very denim styles over the years but have always kept a few pairs of wide leg jeans to style from time to time. Now they have become a wardrobe staple and the denim shape that I reach for the most. I prefer a mix between a wide leg and straight leg jean so they aren’t too voluminous but not too slim. And I have various lengths that I love from cropped to ones that go straight to the floor. Wide leg jeans have made a huge comeback recently and I think they are a style that you can invest in without worrying that they are too trendy. Wide leg pants and wide leg trousers are always a classic wardrobe piece especially for those in the workplace so the silhouette has always been around and will continue to on trend for decades to come. Most of my wide leg jeans and pants are high waisted and wearing a cropped sweater with them really shows off the full look of the jeans. As someone with a long torso, cropped sweaters and shirts are also one of my favorite styles to wear because I don’t have to worry about tucking anything in. LOL

I love the lengthening effect of wide leg pants especially as someone with short legs. And when styling them with a long tunic style cardigan, it continues with the line of the pants creating one long line. This particular cardigan was a bit oversized so I added a belt to give it more of a fitted shape which pairs well with jeans.
