I’ve always been a skincare lover and enjoy testing new products in my routine regularly. But over the past few years, I’ve noticed a major shift in how my skin looks and feels even when using my favorite products. As my skin matures, I’ve had to really change up my skincare routine and reevaluate all the products I use.

Doing my skin care routine each morning and night is my favorite thing ever. It’s a few minutes where I can recharge and pamper myself. Taking care of your skin is incredibly important especially as we age. Using a sheet mask has been a long-time staple in my skin care routine. Sheet masks offer a variety of benefits when used correctly, and so today, I’m sharing a round up of the benefits you can expect when incorporating sheet masks into your skincare routine. 

I come across so many skincare trends on social media but rarely do I explore them because I am happy with my current skincare routine. I understand the basics and use the products that work for me in order of how they will perform best. Skin flooding was one of the skincare trends that I kept hearing about that really piqued my interest.

I was never into skincare until I started my blog nearly 12 years ago. That’s when I really began playing around with it and finding so much enjoyment in really pampering my skin. Determining what it needs at what times and treating those concerns with the correct products. Over time I have seen the fruits of my labor and my skin has really gotten so much better.

If there is one thing I get asked over and over, it’s questions about my skin. What products do I use for it? Which are the most effective? What treatments have you had? I regularly share skincare routines and product reviews but I thought I would write a blog post dedicated to the products that are responsible for having my skin look the way it does. These are products that have been instrumental in keeping my skin looking its best.

I was not a huge fan of Westman Atelier makeup a few years ago when I tried a handful of things from the brand. Everything felt a bit too emollient and dewy for my slightly combination skin at the time. Fast forwards to today and my skin type and texture have really changed and I LOVE Westman Atelier products.

A consistent skincare routine is one of the most important things when it comes to taking proper care of your skin. The skin is the largest organ in the body so it deserves dedicated attention. Even if the routine is just a cleanser and moisturizer, it’s impactful if done everyday (hopefully twice a day – morning and evening).

I’ve been sharing my monthly favorites nearly every month for the past 10+ years but only on video (IG, Tiktok, YouTube). I’ve never shared my favorites in a blog post but thought I would begin doing so in case you ever miss my monthly favorites video.

I test out a TON of skincare for this blog and have been doing so for more than 13 years. But what products do I consistently repurchase time and time again? There are quite a few actually but they have changed quite a bit over the past few years.

I never gave a second thought to my body care products years ago. My requirements were if it smelled good and the packaging was cute. As I got more into skincare over the past few years, I love how many brands have come out with body products that are meant to take care of the skin on your body with ingredients that are as effective as what you use on your face.
