I wasn’t always a sneakers person other than to wear them when working out, but over the past year I have picked up a few pairs and they have really grown on me. I remember shopping in Barneys and seeing Golden Goose sneakers and thinking how I would not be willing to splurge on something like that because I am never that casual with my outfits. Since I work from home now, my style has become a lot more relaxed and I wanted a different option besides flats when running errands or dressing more casual. I bought these and these and wore them a ton, so I knew that I would now get use out of a splurge pair of sneakers. My only complaint with buying the Golden Goose brand in particular is that because they are so popular, certain colors and styles only last online for a few days or even a few hours in certain instances. And every pair I had wanted was always sold out so I never wanted to invest in a color or pattern that didn’t excite me. I saw the style I am wearing and knew instantly that I loved them, but sadly I checked back a few days later and they were all gone. Months went by and I was perusing the Bergdorf Goodman website one evening and they were there! In all sizes! I immediately added them to my cart and checked out before they disappeared. While I knew the print and design would be a hit with me, I was not anticipating them to be this comfortable. Holy cow! They are lightweight, breathable, fitted but not too tight – I wore them my first time for 10 hours straight and it felt like I was barefoot the entire time. THAT is how comfortable they are on my feet. Knowing they were that easy to wear made me feel even better about splurging on them, and since they arrived I have worn them at least 4-5 times a week. In the pictures I had them untied and actually like them that way, but I have tied them as well and find them just as comfy. (for sizing reference, they run true to size for me)
