The older I get the less makeup I can wear because it can show too much texture and look unnatural on my aging skin. When it comes to concealer especially, my options seem to be less and less because so many make my under eye area look worse as the day goes on. The Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Lift & Flex Concealer is a skincare infused, medium to full coverage concealer with a natural soft matte finish. I have dry mature skin and my under eye area can get very dehydrated so I am very particular about the concealers I use because so many look awful after only a few hours. I fell in love with this concealer because of how creamy the formula is while still being incredibly long-wearing with amazing coverage. The concealer is packed with plant powered ingredients that target a variety of concerns.

Orchid Flower Extract – increases luminosity

For my needs and most consumers who are using their makeup for daily use, I appreciate when makeup products are infused with skincare ingredients.
Various Uses For the Concealer
Since Danessa Myricks herself is a professional makeup artist, her products are known for being multi-functional. This concealer can be used a ton of different ways based on your personal needs.
Buildable Coverage
While the concealer provides medium coverage with just one swipe, you can easily build it up for fuller coverage or sheer it out for less.
How To Use the Danessa Myricks Beauty Concealer?
Choose the Correct Shade
While you can definitely use the same shade under the eyes as you do on the face, you can also choose one for simply brightening and another shade for concealing spots on the face. There are swatches online to help you decide on your perfect shade.
Prep the eye area
Concealer always applies better when the eye area is well moisturized. Be sure to use a nourishing eye cream before applying. This is currently the eye cream I am using in the morning because it is INTENSELY hydrating and preps the area perfectly for makeup.
Apply only where you need
Start with a small amount and blend before deciding to add more.
Use as a foundation
Since it does give great coverage, you can use it as a foundation if you wanted and just apply to a few key areas on the face and blend out.
Apply with a Makeup Brush or Sponge
This concealer is extremely user friendly and works well any way you apply it. You can use a traditional concealer brush to apply, blend it out with your fingers or use a damp makeup sponge to add a bit extra moisture into the formula.

There are currently 20 shades in the range with warm, cool, neutral, peach and olive undertones. The shade range is really well done and incredibly inclusive of all skin tones.
