A serious outfit for a serious season. Spring and summer are the fun and playful months, but when the cooler weather hits, clothing gets more serious – darker, heavier and worn in multiple layers.  It’s still nice here in NYC, but I am always the gal in the room that complains “I’m cold”.  I know, I know, I annoy me too.  This outfit made its original debut in the summer, and now it was time to ‘fall-ify’ it by adding a blazer, ankle boots and some heavier accessories.  There is nothing I love more than a new outfit, but sometimes it is nice to shop your closet, taking an older outfit and sprucing it up for the next season.  And when it gets really cold, I can see this outfit working perfectly with a big chunky sweater and tights.  The same easy transition can not be said for my mood and attitude during the cold weather.  Blah. Blabbity-blah.  But I am already planning on investing in some amazing coats for it so clearly I have found a silver lining.
