While I do love my weekend attire, working a more corporate job will always dictate the decisions I make with a majority of my wardrobe. This is an outfit I wore to work last week, and even though it’s May in NYC the weather can still be quite unpredictable. Cool and chilly one day, warm and humid the next. That’s why I invested in a fun trench coat last year that would work for any season and any outfit – either casual or more conservative. A silk blouse is a non-negotiable for me in my wardrobe these days because I get so much use out of them. Zara is still one of my favorite places to go for pants because they fit so well and surprisingly are often a good length for my short inseam. Having these easy basics in my closet help me pull together a quick polished look while still half asleep. Hashtag not a morning person.
