I initially saw this top on the Club Monaco website and instantly loved it! The colors, the shape of the top and the breezy style instantly drew me in. However, as with some of their things I couldn’t justify the price (even on sale), so I kept looking for something similar and stumbled across this top on Asos’ site. Though the colors are different and there is less pleating, I still thought it looked quite similar and once it arrived fell in love with the fit! 
I’m not typically a huge bargain hunter as I lose interest quickly when searching for that ‘needle in the haystack’ piece, but every now and then I will get lucky like I did with this top. One of my tips on helping to organize a search for something is to use Pinterest. I initially pinned that Club Monaco blouse and was able to go back and compare it when I came across this one from Asos. Not a groundbreaking concept I know, but it has truly helped me search better, plan out each season’s wardrobe and decide where I need to fill in. I have discussed before how I instantly pin things I am interested in and that allows me to reference back so I don’t forget items I am loving, or which site I found it on.
