While foundation is probably my most important complexion product I use everyday, concealer is a close second. And while I don’t necessarily want a ton of coverage, having a good concealer can really help create an even complexion. Concealer can be used for a variety of reasons – but the overall purpose of a concealer is to help conceal any specific concerns on the face. The concerns could be hyperpigmentation, dark spots, blemishes, dark circles, etc. There are a ton of reasons to use a concealer so it’s necessary to find something that works for your specific needs. Many people also use their concealer as a foundation or tinted moisturizer especially if they don’t want something to cover their entire face but only want to even out certain areas.
I have tried and used a ton of different concealers over the years and always like to share my thoughts on each formula I test. I have tried a handful of Saie beauty products (here is my Saie beauty review) but have never tried the Saie Beauty Slip Tint Radiant Concealer. As my skin has gotten drier over the past few years, I am drawn to more hydrating formulas especially when it comes to concealers. A blog reader actually recommended the Saie Beauty Slip Tint Radiant Concealer so I ordered it to test it out. I thought I would give you my thoughts on the formula and how it performed for me.
Saie Beauty Concealer Review
The Saie Beauty Slip Tint Radiant All-Over Concealer is a creamy hydrating concealer designed to be use anywhere on the face. It can be used to concealer dark circles, spot treat blemishes, even out the complexion or conceal redness. I personally like to use it for under my eyes specifically to help brighten and counteract any darkness. This is a medium coverage product with a hydrating formula that leaves a radiant finish. While it is supposed to last up to 12 hours, I found that it wasn’t as long lasting on me as some other concealers I use and love. But it was incredibly creamy and made my under eye area look really fresh and hydrated.
Saie Beauty Slip Tint Radiant All-Over Concealer
Packaging
I really like the doe foot applicator on this concealer. It’s nice and comfortable to use though it is on the bigger side which I don’t mind.
Price Point
This is a mid-range concealer. It is priced at $28 for .17 oz.
Longevity
While it is marketed as a long wearing concealer (up to 12 hours), it did not last that long on me. Honestly this wasn’t a huge issue for me because I don’t necessarily need super long wearing products but by the end of the day it was definitely almost all worn away. However I didn’t notice any creasing or settling into fine lines while wearing.
Pigment
This is a concealer with medium coverage and I definitely agree with that. It covers enough but definitely isn’t full coverage.
Ingredients
It contains hyaluronic acid to help hydrate, niacinamide to soothe and condition and glycerin to help increase skin’s moisture level.
Shade Range
The shade range is substantial with 25 shades though I do think they could expand the darker shades a bit more to include more options.
Skin Types
This is a hydrating creamy concealer with a slightly radiant finish so I think this would be best for those with more dry skin or normal to dry skin.
Saie Beauty HydraBeam Hydrating Brightening and Concealing Under Eye Brightener with Cucumber Extract
I have not yet tried the Saie Beauty HydraBeam Hydrating concealer but I thought I would share a bit of information about it in case you want to compare the two formulas. This is more of a brightener with light coverage that is meant to illuminate under the eyes instead of a traditional under eye concealer.
Ingredients
Squalane and plant-derived glycerin lock in moisture and keep the skin well hydrated. Tomato extract helps to brighten and plump while cucumber extract soothes and protects.
Price Point
This is the same price as the Slip Tint concealer – $28.
Coverage
This is a light coverage concealer/illuminator that only hydrates and slightly brightens.
Shade Range
There are only 15 shades in this formula.
