Spring is finally here and I’m itching to add some new pieces to my closet! I always crave a bit of color in the warmer months but still like to have it mixed with neutral bottoms and shoes. Here are some of my favorite new spring arrivals under $200!

Spring is almost here and it’s time to break out all the dresses that have been packed away all winter! One of the best parts about spring is finally getting to wear all the mini, midi and maxi dresses without needing a huge coat layered on top. From prints to solids and from pastels to bold colors, there is a spring dress for everyone. My preference for dresses is all over the place but I do love the fit of a classic shirtdress. Many of my favorite spring dresses are variations of a shirtdress and are perfect to wear to all the spring functions and occasions that will be happening. Here are some of my favorite spring dresses as well as a collection of other styles I am loving right now.

I’m not typically someone who gravitates towards florals or delicate prints, but once spring hits all of that goes out the window! LOL I want to wear all the boho, victorian and floral printed blouses I can find. It’s a nice change from being all bundled up for the past few months so I embrace it fully. One of my go-to spring outfits is a floral blouse and a simple pair of straight leg jeans like I’m wearing in the above photo. It always feels timeless and can work for so many different occasions. I can finally begin to put my boots away and pull out all my favorite spring shoe styles! These are styles that will take me all the way through summer and into fall. Most of the spring shoes I have in my closet are all neutral tones so they easily go with a variety of looks. While I do have some black sandals that I wear during the warmer months, most of the shoes I reach for are more white, cream and varying shades of brown. I also LOVE clear shoes for the warmer months. I have been wearing clear shoes for years and always recommend them because they can look great with literally any outfit. There is no competing color on the shoe so they automatically work with the look. And they also make my legs look so much longer!

Denim jackets never go out of style but this season there are so many updated shapes and silhouettes to choose from. Denim jackets are more structural making them a bit more of a statement piece rather than a jacket you throw on as you run out the door. There are so many chic styles to choose from so you can update your current denim jacket to a more elevated and polished option. Denim doesn’t have to mean casual especially with some of these shapes and silhouettes! 

I’ve always been someone who likes to invest in a “coat wardrobe” because it’s one of the easiest ways to instantly look pulled together with minimal effort. Keep the base outfit simple with a tee and jeans so you can let your jacket be the focal point. There are some really gorgeous spring jackets out there right now so I thought I would round up my favorite styles in today’s post.

Spring wedding season is in full swing and it can be hard to decide what to wear as a wedding guest. Should you choose something short, long, printed, solid, bright colors or neutral? There are so many options out there to choose from so I thought I would share some of my personal looks that would work for a spring wedding as well as other options that would suit a variety of venues and dress codes. When I think of spring wedding guest outfits, I immediately picture lightweight fabrics in soft colors.  Delicate details mixed with neutral accents perfectly embody a spring wedding guest look.

There may still be snow on the ground but I am already thinking about spring outfits! I always like shopping a season ahead so I can plan out the things I want to add to pieces I already own.
