Spring is almost here and it’s time to break out all the dresses that have been packed away all winter! One of the best parts about spring is finally getting to wear all the mini, midi and maxi dresses without needing a huge coat layered on top. From prints to solids and from pastels to bold colors, there is a spring dress for everyone. My preference for dresses is all over the place but I do love the fit of a classic shirtdress. Many of my favorite spring dresses are variations of a shirtdress and are perfect to wear to all the spring functions and occasions that will be happening. Here are some of my favorite spring dresses as well as a collection of other styles I am loving right now.

This dress comes in both a midi length and a mini length and is available in every color and print you can imagine. It is a bit of a splurge but the fit and style is timeless and classic. I like adding a belt to create a bit of shape but you can definitely wear it without a belt for a billowy fit.

I absolutely love the structured fit of this dress and have worn it to so many daytime functions. It’s comfortable yet still polished and comes in a ton of different colors.

Anthropologie Mare Mare Sleeveless Linen Dress

If florals for spring are not your preference, this chocolate brown linen dress is a great alternative. Simple, chic and polished.

Farm Rio Garden Mini Dress

Farm Rio is one of my favorite brands for spring/summer prints. Sometimes their prints are very bold but this one is a bit more understated and simple.

Cleobella Suvi Mini Dress

Another great floral mini dress though I definitely feel like the longer sleeves dresses it up a bit more than shorter sleeves. This is definitely a dressier style overall so I wouldn’t recommend a casual styling with sneakers or flats.

This mini dress is similar to the previous one but the shorter sleeves lends to more casual styling.

Tuckernuck Black Pique May Polo Dress

A casual dress you can wear with sneakers or sandals is always something I have in my closet for spring/summer. I don’t always want to wear shorts but still want to be comfortable and relaxed. This polo dress looks so easy to throw on and go without having to style an entire outfit.

Boden Marcia Jersey Shirt Dress

A midi shirt dress like this is incredibly versatile. Wear it to work with a blazer or wear it on the weekends with flats and a denim jacket.

Hill House Home Jamie Nap Dress

Hill House Home is known for their nap dresses which are usually sleeveless tank styles but this version is closer to my personal preference. A slim fitting shirtdress in an eyelet fabric would be a great dress for so many various spring events and occasions.

Boden Florence Linen Blend Dress

If you are worried about gaping with a button down shirtdress, this shirt style dress may be a better option. No buttons but still has a similar fit with a tie at the waist.

J.Crew Knit Boatneck Midi Dress

J.Crew made a similar dress like this last year and I immediately ordered it. It is such a comfortable dress and incredibly easy to dress up or down. This year’s version is just as chic and a must try!

I’m not typically someone who gravitates towards florals or delicate prints, but once spring hits all of that goes out the window! LOL I want to wear all the boho, victorian and floral printed blouses I can find. It’s a nice change from being all bundled up for the past few months so I embrace it fully. One of my go-to spring outfits is a floral blouse and a simple pair of straight leg jeans like I’m wearing in the above photo. It always feels timeless and can work for so many different occasions.
