If you live somewhere that gets very cold weather during the winter, a puffer jacket or puffer coat is a must have in your closet. I would even argue that having a few of them is necessary especially is you are wearing one nearly every day for 3-4 months straight. I grew up somewhere that was quite mild during the winter so I never really had a good appreciation for puffer coats until I moved to NYC after college and had to find a good one ASAP.

The year is coming to a close so I love to look back and share what my favorite items were from beauty, fashion, accessories, etc. I will be sharing a few more blog posts with my more of my 2025 favorite but today’s post is focusing on the fashion and accessory items that really impressed me this year. These are the pieces I wore the most and would continuously recommend over and over.

There is so many great things about traveling but one of the downsides is the actual logistics of the entire operation. LOL Packing can be a bit exciting, heading to the airport can be a bit anticipatory but once you arrive at the airport all the way until you reach your destination can really be a headache. That is why it is important to dress as comfortably as possible. But dressing comfortably does not have to mean you have to sacrifice being stylish or put together.

If you are struggling with what to wear to all the holiday parties that are non-stop during this time of year, there are some great basics that you can buy which will be easy to rewear year after year. Classic fabrics like velvet and sequins never go out of style so it’s worth buying some festive pieces that you love and repurposing them with different accessories each holiday season. While I have always appreciated a comfy outfit from time to time, the older I get the more I am leaning into an entire comfy wardrobe. LOL I used to have a sweatshirt and maybe a pair of leggings to throw on when I didn’t feel like putting myself together, but that outfit has slowly morphed into an entire collection of clothing that is designed to be comfortable yet still looks super chic. I refuse to sacrifice style for comfort and definitely feel like you can successfully accomplish both in one look.

There are so many sales happening in the last quarter of the year so I decided to start a weekly sales series to feature the ones I think are worth shopping. It will be much like my Friday Finds blog post series but sales edition!

The holiday season is here and Christmas parties are filling up everyone’s calendars. It can be so much fun to look forward to because you can celebrate with people you really love but deciding what to wear can be stressful. LOL How fancy do you dress? How casual do you dress? You want to be comfortable but also look festive and embrace the “extra-ness” of the season.

I just emailed this list to my husband for Christmas so I thought I would share what is on it! It’s a mix of repurchases of things I already own and use plus a few special pieces I’ve had my eye on for a few months.
