Saltair ReviewsIf you are looking to elevate your body care routine but not spend a ton, Saltair is the brand to try. I’ve been using and testing their products for the past 6+ months and find them to be some of the best formulas ever. The brand, founded by influencer Iskra Lawrence, was created to provide products with efficacious results, active skincare ingredients, nourishing oils and exotic botanicals to treat the skin. Elevating the everyday rituals of caring for our skin is one of Saltair’s core principles. They also place a large emphasis on sustainability and responsible packaging which is something many brands hope to achieve but have trouble executing it fully.

I’ve seen Saltair products all over my social media and was intrigued by all the colorful packaging and affordable price points. I’m going to share my honest review of the brand and all the products I’ve tried to help you decide if it’s worth trying for yourself!

They focus on sustainability and giving back through their partnership with organizations that help offset their plastic consumption. They also donate a portion of their proceeds to the Trevor Project which is an organization committed to supporting reforestation and urban forestry.

Is Saltair a Clean Brand?

Yes, Saltair falls into the marketing category of “clean beauty” as their products are free of sulfates, parabens, gluten and dyes.

Saltair Skin Rejuvenating Serum Body Wash

This was the first product I tried that made me fall in love with the entire line. There are a few different scents but the texture is the same for all. It’s a serum-infused formula that foams up a bit once you add water but never feels stripping. The Exotic Pulp version contains vitamin c which helps to brighten the skin but I like to rotate through all of the scents. If you are new to the line, I highly recommend trying one of the body washes first because you will not be disappointed!

Saltair Body Mist

Body mists are much lighter in intensity and not as long wearing as traditional perfumes, but I was surprised by the longevity of the Saltair Body Mists. They still fade throughout the day but they did last longer than many other body mists I’ve tried. I also like layering these with other perfumes to create my own scent.

Saltair Nourishing Body Oil

I love a nourishing body oil but prefer to have it absorb quickly so it doesn’t get on my clothes or pajamas at night. The Saltair Body Oil is incredibly rich but soaks in almost immediately leaving my skin moisturized but not greasy. Formulated with fermented saururus, kukui, cacay, moringa and squalane along with a biomimetic blend of plant actives that absorb easily and leave skin glowing. If you are new to using body oils, my favorite way to apply them is when my skin is still slightly damp after the shower. I like to massage in my body oil over my damp skin to trap in all the moisture. My skin stays hydrated for longer when I apply the body oil on damp skin versus dry skin.

Saltair Multi-Lipid Body Butter

The body butter is a thick ceramide-rich formula that helps to nourish and restore the skin. It contains fatty acids, a ceramide complex and phytosterols which help to maintain a healthy skin barrier and replenish moisture to dry skin. It’s a rich texture that feels cushiony on the skin but absorbs quickly with no greasy residue. This is nourishing enough to use in the cold weather but doesn’t leave a heavy feeling on the skin which is why I still use it during the spring/summer. The fragrance on the body butter is VERY long wearing so you can skip perfume all together during the day and just apply this body butter. If you want to enhance the scent a bit, the body mist is the perfect accompanying product.

There are a few other products from the line that I have not yet tried but are definitely worth mentioning. They make an SPF 50 sunscreen oil and a shimmering body oil that gives you a lightweight full-body glow. If the body butter sounds too rich, there is a Renewing Body Lotion option that is lighter in texture. They are body treatments that target different concerns such as uneven texture or anti-aging concerns. There is a Hyaluronic Acid Body Serum, an overnight Retinol Body Lotion and two strengths of their glycolic body scrub. Additionally, there are various natural deodorant formulas, an entire haircare line, lip oil balms and candles!
