I can finally begin to put my boots away and pull out all my favorite spring shoe styles! These are styles that will take me all the way through summer and into fall. Most of the spring shoes I have in my closet are all neutral tones so they easily go with a variety of looks. While I do have some black sandals that I wear during the warmer months, most of the shoes I reach for are more white, cream and varying shades of brown. I also LOVE clear shoes for the warmer months. I have been wearing clear shoes for years and always recommend them because they can look great with literally any outfit. There is no competing color on the shoe so they automatically work with the look. And they also make my legs look so much longer!

I’ve been sharing my monthly favorites nearly every month for the past 10+ years but only on video (IG, Tiktok, YouTube). I’ve never shared my favorites in a blog post but thought I would begin doing so in case you ever miss my monthly favorites video. I will forever be a knee high boot fan. Even more than ankle boots, I tend to gravitate towards knee high boots and how they can look so chic with a ton of different looks. And they are more versatile than ankle boots because they can be worn under jeans/trousers and look like an ankle boot and then also still be styled with short dresses and skirts too.

Wearing different patterns is a great way to add in some interest to your daily looks. However, mixing different patterns together in the same outfit is a high-value styling skill many find intimidating. It’s definitely something that takes some trial and error to figure out the best combinations. But if you own a ton of classic prints (stripes, florals, animal print, etc), it could be easier than you think. I was on the hunt for a new pair of white jeans to wear this spring. I looked at a ton of different styles but decided to take a chance on this pair despite not owning anything from this brand. The jeans just arrived and I LOVE them! The fit is great and the length is perfection for my 5’4′ height (no alterations needed).

Denim jackets never go out of style but this season there are so many updated shapes and silhouettes to choose from. Denim jackets are more structural making them a bit more of a statement piece rather than a jacket you throw on as you run out the door. There are so many chic styles to choose from so you can update your current denim jacket to a more elevated and polished option. Denim doesn’t have to mean casual especially with some of these shapes and silhouettes!
