The year is coming to a close so I love to look back and share what my favorite items were from beauty, fashion, accessories, etc. I will be sharing a few more blog posts with my more of my 2025 favorite but today’s post is focusing on the hair, body and fragrance items that really impressed me this year. These are the pieces I used the most and would continuously recommend over and over.
Best of Beauty 2025: Haircare, Fragrance and Bodycare Favorites
Haircare
Epres Hair Bond Repair Treatment
I’ve been on a hair journey for nearly two years. Trying to stimulate growth and help get my hair to a healthier state. I’m pretty happy with how things are progressing but was contemplating adding in a bond repair treatment once a week. I’ve heard amazing reviews about this particular formula so I’ve been testing it out for the past few months. I use it once a week before I shower drenching my dry hair with the solution and leaving it on for 10 minutes. I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in the ends of my hair and overall health of my hair this past month. This has been the only thing I’ve done differently so I know it is all because of this bond repair treatment!
OneSkin OS-01 Hair Peptide Scalp Serum (code: MAREE15)
I am a huge fan of OneSkin products so I knew instantly that I wanted to try the Peptide Scalp Serum when it launched earlier this year. Fast forward to the end of 2025 and my hair has grown faster and thicker than any other scalp serum I’ve tried. It’s not greasy or heavy and doesn’t weigh my roots down.
Crown Affair Towel
I use this towel after I wash my hair to remove excess water. It’s so gentle and won’t damage the hair.
14th Night The Hair Elixir (discount code: MAREE20)
This hair oil is one of the only ones I can use because everything else weighs my hair down instantly. This is lightweight but still manages to smooth my hair and give it the best shine out of all the hair oils I own. I am OBSESSED with the scent and would love to buy a body version of that scent if/when they finally make one! LOL There is an unscented version if you don’t want fragrance so don’t let that be a deterrent. The scent is a blend of vanilla, amber and bergamot and leaves your hair smelling incredible. It can be used on wet hair to help provide heat protection, on dry hair to add shine and nourish the ends or as a deep conditioning treatment by leaving on the hair 10 minutes before washing. I like to use it for styling purposes and love how much shine it gives my hair!
Bodycare
Saltair Skin Rejuvenating Serum Body Wash
This was the first product I tried that made me fall in love with the entire Saltair line. There are a few different scents but the texture is the same for all. It’s a serum-infused formula that foams up a bit once you add water but never feels stripping. The Exotic Pulp version contains vitamin c which helps to brighten the skin but I like to rotate through all of the scents. If you are new to the line, I highly recommend trying one of the body washes first because you will not be disappointed!
OSEA Undaria Cleansing Polish
I had a sample of this that I was using and as soon as I finished it, I had to purchase the full size. It’s a gel-to-milk texture which is so unique and different from anything else I’ve used. It’s less of a traditional scrub and more of a creamy polish. And it’s richly nourishing while also providing some exfoliation. Sometimes I find that scrubs can be too harsh or even too drying for my skin but this body polish solves that issue. Additionally, it has a light delicate citrus scent that smells amazing.
Mutha Body Butter (discount code: MAREE15)
This body butter is uniquely different from every other body product I own. This is a true body BUTTER. It’s thick and rich – almost like a solid balm. In addition to moisturizing my skin like never before, it’s intensely firming and also leaves the most gorgeous hydrated glow on the skin. It’s pricey but honestly I have never tried anything this luxe before.
Salt & Stone Body Cream in Saffron and Cedar
I take my body care very seriously and love a rich nourishing body cream especially in the colder months. These are creamy, rich and smooth while absorbing in just a few minutes. The scents are what keep me coming back though. They last for so long and smell divine. Saffron and Cedar is absolutely divine and smells very similarly to Baccarat Rouge 540. Cyklar Sensorial Body Wash
There is a reason that this oil-infused body wash has gone viral multiple times. I’ve never felt anything like it before. It’s truly one of the most nourishing body washes I’ve ever used and the scents are to die for!!! A bit of a splurge but they are worth every penny. My two favorite scents are Vanilla Verve and Sacred Santal.
Cyklar Nutrient-Rich Body Cream
I have yet to try anything from Cyklar that I didn’t immediately fall in love with. This body cream is intensely rich and moisturizing but absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film on the skin. Also the scents last for HOURS! If you prefer a scented body cream for your daily fragrance, this will be a must try. My two favorite scents are Vanilla Verve and Sacred Santal.
Cyklar Ceramide Milky Essence
I use milky essences on my face both morning and night so I am so happy to be using one for the body. I prefer to use this in the morning because it is incredibly lightweight. It doesn’t take long to absorb and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. If you are experiencing extra dry skin, layer this under your favorite rich body cream for additional bit of moisture.
Naturium Glow Getter Multi-Oil Hydrating Body Wash
As someone who has been using cleansing oils for her face going on 10+ years, I love using them on my body as well. The entire Naturium skincare line is amazing but the body washes are 10/10! This one comes out as an oil but transforms to a gentle hydrating milk when you add water. It nourishes the skin so well and never leaves it feeling greasy.
Naturium The Calmer Ceramide Body Wash
If scented body washes are not your thing, this Naturium Ceramide body wash is a great option. It’s creamy and intensely nourishing making it perfect for my dry skin. It’s also gentle enough for anyone with eczema-prone or sensitive skin.
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Firming Body Butter
I’ve gone through three tubs of this and always repurchase when I run out. An airy whipped texture is the best way to describe this body butter. Light and fluffy but intensely rich and hydrating.
Fragrance
Phlur Cherry Stem EDP
I ordered a travel size of Phlur’s new Cherry Stem scent during the Sephora sale without ever smelling it and hoped for the best. Thankfully it is even better than I imagined and am planning to buy the full size. It’s a rich black cherry scent mixed with plum nectar, ebony wood, sugared jasmine and a hint of leather.
Salt & Stone Body Mist in Black Rose & Oud
I immediately fell in love with this body mist the minute I smelled it. Floral but not powdery. The perfect blend of rose, vetiver and oud.
Phlur Strawberry Letter
I love a fruity fragrance but this is a rich fruity scent with so much depth to it. It’s described as a crisp, fruity gourmand but it definitely has some more intense notes so it’s not as light or sweet as other fruity gourmand fragrances.
Lake & Skye 444 Sunkissed + Monoi Hair & Body Mist (discount code: MAREE15)
While this isn’t exceptionally long wearing, I was obsessed with this scent all summer long. It’s the perfect warm weather fragrance with notes of bergamot, strawberry, pineapple, jasmine, coconut and sandalwood.
