If you scroll back to my earlier outfits on the blog, I hardly ever wore belts. Not quite sure why but I was never really into them and felt they weren’t super necessary to wear. Fast forward to today and I wear a belt with almost every single outfit! LOL I find they really do elevate an outfit and add some texture, color or interest to any look. I have a wide range of belts in my collection from all price points so I thought I would round up some of my favorites in today’s post.
12 Belts To Elevate Your Outfits
Amazon Leather Belt
Sometimes Amazon finds can be hit or miss but this belt is a MAJOR HIT! I wear it all the time in this exact color and it looks so much more expensive than it is. Here is a look at how I have styled it.
Aureum Collective Belt No. 3 (code: MAREE20)
I love how elevated this belt looks while still being super understated and simple. Here is a look at how I styled it.
Dehanche Hollyhock Suede Belt
I rarely see brown with silver and actually love the combination.
Aureum Collective Belt No. 2 (code: MAREE20)
Studded belts are clearly having a moment and honestly I love it. Especially because so many of my outfits are neutral and classic so adding a studded belt creates a bit more interest and adds some texture.
Isabel Marant Lecce Belt
This was the first belt I splurged on and I’ve worn it so much that the cost per wear is almost negligible at this point. LOL I have people stop me on the street to ask about this belt because of how unique it is. It adds so much to an outfit and is so easy to adjust because of the wrap style. I can pull it tighter if I am wearing it around my waist or leave it looser if I am wearing around my hips. I was worried that this belt would go out of style but I have had it for 5+ years and still wear it all the time. It is much more timeless than I ever expected. Here’s a look at how I’ve styled it.
J.Crew Woven Square Buckle Belt
Especially in the spring and summer, adding a raffia or woven belt to an outfit looks so much better than something leather. This type of belt would go perfectly with any linen or lightweight pieces.
Loeffler Randall Black with Silver Studs Belt
The double row of studs immediately gets a yes from me. It’s such a statement piece and would look amazing worn with a simple white tee and jeans. The belt can literally carry the entire outfit.
Madewell Flat Studded Western Belt
A double row of studs that is much more understated and less dramatic. Madewell has actually come out with so many great belts over the past year but this one immediately caught my eye.
Mango Oval Buckle Belt
Mango is one of my favorite retailers for clothing but their belts are so underrated! I have both a black/gold and black/silver belt from them which both were under $40 and look so expensive! They have some pricier styles but their basic belts are all incredibly affordable and well made.
Madewell Woven Triple Metal Keeper Belt
I only had black or brown belts in my collection but whenever I would wear lighter colors I felt they were too dark for certain outfits. I finally purchased a cream belt and it’s the one thing that many of my white outfits was missing. Especially for the spring and summer, a cream or white belt is a must have.
Freda Salvador Rebecca Belt
As someone who loves mixed metal jewelry, a mixed metal belt is genius. Especially if you are worried about which jewelry to wear with your outfit or the hardware on your bag, adding a mixed metal belt brings in both silver and gold so now you can mix and match metals in the rest of your outfit.
Heaven Mayhem Bean Belt (code: MAREE15)
I have quite a few Heaven Mayhem belts and what I love most about them is the way they fasten around the waist. They have a hook that latches into the hole so the excess belt actually lays under the belt instead of outside it. This particular style is a bit slimmer than my other belts which is perfect for certain looks. Here is a look at how I styled it. Here is another one of my favorite Heaven Mayhem belts!
