Perfection is the Bergdorf Goodman beauty floor.  An iconic department store, legendary for opulence and richness, with a beauty floor like no other.  A basement oasis of decadent, luxury skincare, beauty and fragrance brands coexisting in chic white decor and customized counters.  If you ever have the chance to float, I mean walk, through this department your heart may just stop.    Every brand that you have ever wanted to own, try or use is on that floor.  And recently, it added one more fabulous brand to its beauty floor landscape – Dior Beauty.  This is no ordinary beauty counter however, the construction and inspiration behind this counter is simply magnificent. Every aspect of this counter is reminiscent of Dior’s heritage, with lighting fixtures made in the signature Cannage pattern to an exclusive fragrance collection, La Collection Prive, with scents inspired by the brand’s own in house perfumer. Pictured above is the back wall of the boutique, which features a video streaming directly from Paris that shows a variety of interactive gardenscapes.  A vast makeup island where beauty admirers can try on makeup and receive consultations from trained beauty consultants runs the length of the entire boutique.  Tucked away behind the space is a private spa room where they will feature facial treatments and techniques direct from the Dior Institute in Paris.  Oui?  Oui.  I know they say life is about the journey not the destination, but clearly there is an exception to every rule.
