When I’m packing for vacation, I like to wear pieces that are both fun and comfortable. There is nothing worse than sightseeing around an area that is unfamiliar and your feet hurt, your pants are too tight or your shirt keeps acting up. No one has time for that mess. It will now be my second summer with these Rag & Bone shorts and they are absolutely wonderful. So comfortable with a ton of character and can be worn with just about anything. I knew I wanted to keep it simple with just a t-shirt on top, but when I came across this cute one at Urban Outfitters I felt it was basic enough to pair with other patterns or colors, but a bit more exciting than your average white tee. Now we cannot discuss this outfit without talking about these Mara Hoffman espadrilles! I read some reviews that said these shoes were uncomfortable, and I couldn’t disagree more. I found them to be heaven for my feet – especially in the warm weather. They do run small so I recommend sizing up. When heading to warmer climates, I love to experiment with colors and patterns and feel it fits the surroundings so much more. Naturally I had to bring out my colorful Sophie Hulme crossbody bag that I scored on sale last summer – and honestly I was afraid I would never get any use out of it. Fast forward a year later and I have worn it a TON! I anticipate that it will again be my bag of choice for this summer, as will this panama hat. I love a good fedora for the summer, but the wider brim of this panama hat is much better for helping shield my face from the sun. I don’t need a tan on my face, that’s what my Guerlain bronzer is for. Duh.
