I should warn you that over the next few weeks, my posts will be a mix of winter and spring clothing since the weather can’t make up its mind. #rude But if we are being honest, I usually snag a few great buys at the end of winter because so many things go on sale and sometimes sizes are more available because everyone is focusing on warm weather pieces. I had seen this faux shearling coat earlier this year and thought it looked so much more expensive than it actually is! It’s super warm and a great statement piece – and since it may snow this weekend, it will probably be making an appearance again.
Yesterday the weather was beautiful so Stan and I headed down to Tysons Corner mall for a few hours. After living in NYC for so many years, I got used to shopping outdoors, running from store to store and praying I could find a cab at the end so I wouldn’t have to lug all my purchases back on the subway. A mall is so easy peasy! Everything under one roof and the parking lot so close. LOL I obviously was familiar with shopping malls before I moved to NYC, but I didn’t appreciate its ease until I was no longer near one. Though to be honest, I prefer to shop online but I took the opportunity yesterday to experience a few beauty items in person that are impossible to buy on my favorite sites. This fragrance line has been on my radar for so long and I was able to finally narrow down some of my favorite scents!
