Today’s post is a bit of pre-fall outfit inspo for ya! This look feels to me like a great transition outfit for when it’s beginning to cool down but nowhere near the temps for jackets, tights, layers, etc. A denim skirt is great for 3 seasons out of the year (or 4 if you live somewhere warm) and I love the distressed look of this one. And for only $25, the cost per wear is going to be next to nothing because  it can be worn with so many things! I wore it a last week with a lace camisole and low heels, but it will easily slide right into fall with a sweatshirt or chunky sweater.
On a non-fashion related note, do any of you watch The Affair? Ugh, I know I mention this every week on insta-stories but that show was truly one of the best shows I have ever seen on TV when it first aired. The first two seasons were amazing – the storyline, the acting, the cinematography…it all worked beautifully together. And now the show has just gone off the rails and is such a disappointment (in my opinion). I hate when shows change so drastically and no longer seem to be the same show you began watching. Grey’s Anatomy feels that way to me as well. However, in better entertainment news, Stan and I are heading to see Crazy Rich Asians tonight. I cannot wait! I read the book and loved it (new book review post coming soon!), and have heard the movie is just as good. And as someone married to a Chinese man, with a baby that is 50% Chinese, I am so proud to see an all Asian cast for this film! I wish Miles was older so he could see it with us, but I’m sure he will watch it someday.
