I’m all about versatility when it comes to outfits for special occasions. Can I make something suitable for a dressed up evening but also wear the pieces past that particular night or event? Sometimes not because certain looks are specific for an occasion, but many times it’s about the right accessories and makeup that can make a “normal” day to day look perfect for a party. The holidays are the best time to do this because adding a bold lip and glitzy accessories are part of the festive mood. This particular look I’m wearing is definitely on the more conservative side but would make a great look for an office holiday party. In fact, you could make this outfit go from the desk to the evening’s events just by switching out the shoes, adding a red lip, statement earrings and a clutch. Voila! And then after the party is over, you can still wear the sweater and pants for the rest of the season.
