I picked up these cropped jeans at the beginning of winter (see them in a previous post) and love that they are still so perfect for spring. While I have been pairing them with sweaters for the cold weather, I am looking forward to styling them with off the shoulder tops, cropped shirts and blouses. As someone who has an incredibly short inseam (normally 26″ or 27″ will come down to the base of my ankle), I am thrilled to see cropped pants becoming so popular. This particular style is flattering because it darts in at the waist, yet has a straight wide leg. They run quite large so I went down 2 whole sizes, but the high waist makes them comfortable and also helps to elongate my legs. The dark denim is an easy neutral base, though I am loving many of the lighter color versions for the warm weather. J.Crew has a ton of great options now and are always the go-to site for cropped styles, so I linked a few of my picks as well as a couple other brands/colors/patterns that I thought were cute.
