Striped sweater | Black jeans | Ballet flats | Braided bag | Sunglasses
As a die hard heels lover, I’m surprised at my current intense love for ballet flats. But here we are. Maybe it is after all those years of wearing super high heels that I feel my feet have earned a rest. LOL Either way, I am thrilled that ballet flats are trending heavily at the moment. There are so many chic options available and a style to fit everyone’s taste and budget. I personally like them worn with jeans or trousers when I don’t to wear heels. And when I don’t want to go the sneakers route for comfort. I have a few pairs in my closet and chose neutral styles so they would go with everything and a few that have some embellishments because I will forever love a bit of sparkle.
This pair I’m wearing in the above photo are a new purchase but a style that I know I will wear for years and years. I love the two tone colorway which makes them incredibly versatile and suitable to wear with so many different outfits. They have a Chanel-esque look to them but at a fraction of the price.

Margaux NY Ballet Flats
This is my first time trying any shoes from Margaux NY and I already want to buy more pairs. One of the best aspects of this brand is the range of sizing available. There are sizes available from 3 to 14 and you can also choose between narrow, regular and wide so there is truly something for everyone. This particular pair of flats is a classic pointy toe ballet flat in a neutral rose tone. They are a shoe to wear now and for many years to come – a true classic!

Mesh Ballet Flats
Not everyone loves the mesh shoe trend but I am HERE for it! It adds a unique bit of texture to an outfit yet the style of the shoes are still so simple. A ballet flat that is super comfy and goes with so many different outfits. There is also a pearl embellished version of this shoe that I love as well.

Square Toe Ballet Flats
Another super trendy style at the moment – an actual ballet style shoe with the square toe and criss cross straps. I especially love the grommet detail which again adds some texture to what is essentially a simple black flat.

Tweed Slingbacks
These tweed slingbacks have the teeny tiniest heel that is not even a 1/2 inch high so I still wanted to include them in this post. If you need a great workwear shoe, these are perfect. But as someone that doesn’t work in an office, I find myself reaching for them with casual looks as well.

Studded Ballet Flats
As someone who has always bought metallic accessories and sees them as a neutral, I added these crystal studded nude flats to my closet and love how they dress up a very simple look. I initially bought them during the holidays and got a ton of wear out of them but still find them great to wear after the holidays with a basic sweater and jeans outfit.

Mary Jane Flats
This pair of flats is a mix between mary janes and ballet flats. They come in a bunch of colors but I (of course) was immediately drawn to the studded/embellished pair. A mary jane style flat is a tad more trendy than a traditional ballet flat but if you choose a neutral color like these, they are definitely more timeless.

Ballet Flats At All Price Points
Pink metallic flats | Floral embroidered flats | White studded flats | Crystal embellished flats | Jelly flats | Black woven flats | Red flats | Black mesh flats | Silver flats | Brown woven flats
I rounded up a wide variety of styles and price points in this collage. Of course I chose all neutral tones but some are simple and understated, while others are trendier and more bold. I am LOVING the mesh shoe trend happening right now as well as the embellished/studded shoe trend. Both are unique and add a pop of interest to a classic outfit.
