To say I feel fancy in this skirt is an understatement. In fact, the bottom of the skirt has a mesh lining that gives it a hoop skirt feeling. *insert red dress dancing woman emoji* I wore this outfit to dinner the other evening and it was too late to take pictures, so I went out to take photos of it during the day. Though I have to admit, wearing a long, lined skirt during the hottest part of the day is a lot less fun than wearing it at night when it has cooled down a bit. Ha! Either way, I still love wearing it and couldn’t stop twirling around while shooting this. (though we didn’t capture any photos of me doing it in a cute way – all of the outtakes were me looking ridiculous)
I went with a basic white tank and tied it up in the back to make it a crop top style so it didn’t detract from any of the skirt’s volume and pattern. And since we have a car and can drive everywhere now, I am more inclined to wear the few pairs of heels that I still own. These are probably my most versatile pair of sandals that I own, but can only wear them when I have a car nearby. LOL However, I just picked up this pair of high heeled sandals and have heard they are super comfortable so fingers crossed!
