Maxi dresses are traditionally something I associated with spring and summer, but when I saw this version with the long sleeves I thought it would perfect for fall. I definitely have pieces that I gravitate towards regularly in my wardrobe, but I love to experiment with different looks now and then. This flowy boho silhouette is one that I always admire on other girls, so I wanted to try it out for myself! As the temperature begins to drop, I would love this with a faux fur shearling vest (loving this one and this one) or a chunky sweater, though it would need to be slimmer fit like this one so as not to add extra bulk to an already billowy outfit.
I hope everyone had a fun Halloween, or simply used it as an excuse to watch something scary and eat sugar! I feel like the hype surrounding it is getting bigger and bigger each year, and the day after Halloween seems like such a let down similar to after Christmas or New Years. I am hesitant to begin the holiday decorating process, but then I walk into all of the stores and I want to run out with a christmas tree and garland. Haha! Since our new home is almost 4x the size of my old NYC apartment, there isn’t enough furniture to occupy all the rooms yet so when I do get around to decorating it will be minimal. Or centered around the few areas that have furniture.
When do you begin putting up your holiday decorations? Are you a super early one or do you wait until right before the holidays?
