Black and white – timeless and effortless, but I love the effect that throwing on a bold color shoe can have on the total look.  I purchased these YSL shoes a few years ago and find they can always elevate (literally they are 5 inches) any outfit they are put with – whether a work dress or casual summer white jeans.  I believe in investing in pieces and building a wardrobe that can be versatile and easy to navigate through – no one should get lost in their closet.  Unless you have one that is so huge that you can physically get lost – and to that I say – “let’s be friends, I’m a size 7”.
