Dress – Express (wearing a size 2/runs true to size, also in black, similar here and here) | Sneakers – Golden Goose (similar on sale here, here and here) | Sunglasses – Amazon (only $10!) | Bag – Gucci
Happy Monday everyone! We had some of the best weather this past weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it. I normally go to yoga on Saturday mornings and have been avoiding going the past few weeks because the room is on the 4th floor of an old building and gets insanely hot! If it was Bikram yoga and I knew what I was getting myself into then fine (side note: I’ve done Bikram and I didn’t love it) but a warm room is different from a stifling hot room. So I finally went this past Saturday because the temps were low enough that I wouldn’t need an IV to rehydrate after my class. LOL
Dresses like this polka dot number are so key when it gets super hot because it’s comfortable yet still flowy. I didn’t want to wear my regular wedges, heels or sandals with it on this particular day, so I threw on my new Golden Goose sneakers that I snagged on super sale (this was the site but they are sold out now) and love how cute the whole ensemble looked! I’ve talked about my love for Golden Goose sneakers many times (I have two other pairs – see those here and here) not only because the designs and colors are everything, but because I can walk for HOURSSSSS and never get blisters. In fact, on this particular day I was remarking to Stan as we were walking around just how comfortable these sneakers are – even more so than my athletic sneakers that I work out in. In the past few months I have received numerous questions about sizing info and how Golden Goose sneakers run so I thought I would share in this post so anyone can reference it in the future. I’ve heard many different reviews but for me all the styles run true to size for me. I am a size 7 and buy the 37 each time. Currently I have the May and Superstar styles. If you are thinking of splurging, I highly recommend! Some of the sites that I typically go to for Golden Goose sneakers (and ones to check for sales) are Net-a-Porter, Shopbop, Bergdorf Goodman, SSense, Oxygen Boutique, Revolve and Nordstrom. Regarding sales, I’m going to be honest and say it’s hard to grab them because they sell out so quickly. Even when new styles launch, often they are gone within a few hours. The good news is they constantly come out with new colors, patterns and prints so you are guaranteed to find another pair you love.
