When Stan and I went to take pictures of this look, he said “This outfit seems a little basic – why are we shooting it?”. To which I replied, “Because basics are the best and so much more versatile than most “interesting” outfits!” Obviously I like adding a twist to a basic outfit with a fun scarf or accessory which makes it feel more like me, but overall I love outfits that don’t take much thought to put together. I like to quickly grab pieces in my closet, throw them together and still know I am going to look polished. This is a perfect outfit to wear for Thanksgiving because it’s incredibly comfortable (the jeans have an insane amount of stretch!) yet still looks like you put some effort into your look. Scarves are one of my favorite ways to dress up simple outfits and as a leopard lover, I have quite a few in my closet that I rotate between. Another option would be to choose your favorite color in a lightweight scarf and add that to your basic looks.
