Leave it to Jinsoon to make nail colors for spring that embody the entire essence of the season. I mean would you look at all those vibrant shades?! I have long been a fan of Jinsoon polishes and find they are some of the best in my entire collection. (Read all of my past reviews here.) The shine, the immediate drying time, the long lasting formula – it’s light years ahead of most of the other polishes that I’ve used.
Her recent collaboration with Tila March is full of intense hues balanced with the most perfect milky nude shade. The five shades are Tila (green), Farouche (pink), Enflammee (orange), Charme (bright yellow) and Doux (nude). I myself was instantly drawn to Doux and Enflammee – they seemed so opposite but so perfect for spring. The brush is quite thin as you can see from the above photo, and is very manageable when using. I am not the best at doing my own nails, but I find I can manage applying Jinsoon polishes quite well myself.
Tila, Farouche and Enflammee went on evenly with two even coats. Charme and Doux needed a bit more of a steady hand and worked better with three very thin coats to give a nice opaque finish. From first swipe, Farouche and Enflammee had a slight jelly finish to them with one coat, but after the second coat became creamy and opaque which I prefer.
Jinsoon polishes out of all my nail polishes dry the fastest and have incredible long wear times – usually 4-5 days for me with minimal chipping. That being said, I still swear by my Formula X system and will never paint my nails without it again because of how well it extends the length of my manicures. But even without the Formula X, these polishes have serious staying power.
