I’m not ready to let go of summer, but I can talk fall beauty all day long. I had a chance to try out the new shades from Deborah Lippmann’s fall collection, “New York Marquee“, and they are a metallic lover’s dream.

The above swatches were done with just one coat so you can see how opaque the formula goes on. There is a bit of streaking as with most metallic colors, so you do have to start with a thin coat and make sure you apply evenly. But I think there is nothing more appropriate for fall then metallic shiny nails. I haven’t yet worn the formula, so I can’t speak to how long they wear, but as a strong Deborah Lippmann aficionado (see all my previous DL swatches here), I can imagine they will wear quite well as do all her other colors and formulas.
