I don’t consider myself super outdoorsy but I do love exploring beautiful places. Stan and I ventured out a few weeks ago and spent the day enjoying the most beautiful fall day. The area we visited had some pretty popular hiking spots so I wore these boots that are the perfect mix of comfortable and cute. They were easy to walk around in yet still suitable for climbing up some of the paths and trails that led to a gorgeous view. A simple fuzzy fleece jacket was perfect for the cool air and on this day I wore a tank top underneath, but it layers easily over a turtleneck or long sleeved tee for when it gets colder. 
On another note, thank you for all the sweet comments and messages about Miles’ first birthday yesterday! We had such a wonderful time celebrating with friends and Miles enjoyed every minute of the celebration which makes my heart explode with joy. He is such a happy little boy and his excitement for life is contagious and wonderful to be around. I am looking forward to the holidays this year especially because he is so much more active and expressive with all the things around him. I am planning on putting up my tree this week because I know if I wait too long, the time will pass so quickly and it will be Thanksgiving! Ugh, time never moves this fast in February or March. LOL
